Founded in Reno in 2008 to study the noble science of swordplay, the Noble Science Academy’s oldest branch is still located in the Reno/Sparks area.

Our school, now in Sparks, is currently following the Academy curriculum for longsword (emphasizing the use of both Italian and German longsword techniques), rapier (emphasizing Giganti), Scottish broadsword, British smallsword, and German sword & buckler (using the Tower Fechtbuch).

Our regular practice schedule (subject to change):

Monday Evening:

6:00 - Smallsword
7:00 - Open Floor
8:00 - Longsword

Tuesday Evening:

5:00 - Advanced Longsword¹
6:00 - Open Floor
7:00 - Scottish Broadsword & English Saber

Wednesday Evening:

5:00 - HEMA for Kids
6:00 - Longsword Fundamentals

Thursday Evening:

5:00 - HEMA for Teens
6:00 - Rapier

Friday:

7:00 - Fight Team¹

Saturday:

11:00 - Academy Shieldmaidens (HEMA For Women)
12:00 - Scottish Broadsword & English Saber
1:00 - Longsword
2:00 - Open Floor
3:00 - Sword & Buckler (first Saturdays of the month only)
